Carrier Fit Brush Seal - For 1.5mm to 2.5mm Gaps

This brush seal is 4.8mm wide by 5.5mm high and designed to seal gaps between 1.5mm and 2.5mm. These seals are often used in heritage and conservation buildings, including Grade I and Grade II listed buildings. This product is ideal for retro fitting around sash windows but is compatible with all window frame materials including timber, steel, Aluminium and PVC. It provides additional draught resistance between the window and frame when fitted around sashes. The brush seal is manufactured from a high quality Polyurethane which makes this seal water repellent, UV stable and weather resistant. The brush pile is a low friction surface with good shear strength which makes it ideal for sliding applications. This product is designed to fit into our PVC brush seal carrier (BS4115). This carrier can either be stuck onto a flat surface or inserted into an 8mm wide by 3.3mm deep groove. The carrier is supplied with a high quality adhesive backing which can be applied to most clean flat surfaces such as plastic, wood and metal.
