L Shaped Rubber Seal - 18.7mm x 20mm x 3mm Wall Thickness

This L section is 18.7mm wide by 20mm high and has a wall thickness of 3mm. It is sold in 2.5 metre lengths. L sections are often used for protecting and covering edges, angles and corners. They can be used within the marine, automotive and industrial industries as a waterproofing measure or aesthetic trim. The size can be extended or thickened by bonding solid neoprene strip onto it using a good quality contact adhesive such as our A139 or A262 (available from our website). This profile can also be bonded onto most clean flat surfaces such as plastic, wood and metal. We manufacture this product from high quality EPDM which is a rubber compound suitable for a wide range of every day and industrial applications. This material has a good modular resistance to most substances including most chemicals, UV, air and ozone but is not recommended in environments which may come into contact with oil or fuel. EPDM is around the same hardness (70° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -40°C to +120°C.
