Self Grip Side Seal With 21mm Diameter Bulb - To Fit 1.5mm to 3mm Panel

This edge trim with side seal is designed to fit onto a 1.5mm to 3mm thick panel edge and has a 21mm diameter sponge sealing bulb. It is commonly used to create a watertight seal on windows, doors, hatches, lockers, enclosures and cabinets. We recommend compressing the sponge bulb by approximately 30% to create a good seal and avoid compression set. It is manufactured with a self-gripping metal spine so will hold itself in place without the need for additional adhesive. This creates a secure section able to hold its shape and withstand impact but can be removed and reused multiple times if required. It can be fitted onto an edge by tapping it on with your hand or a soft faced hammer. We manufacture this product from high quality EPDM which is a rubber compound suitable for a wide range of everyday and industrial applications. This material has a good modular resistance to most substances including most chemicals, UV, air and ozone but is not recommended in environments which may come into contact with oil or fuel. EPDM has an operating temperature range between -40°C to +120°C.
