With the introduction of the IPG LightWELD Laser Welding machines to our range, we’ve built our very own demonstration vehicle so you can see and try Laser Welding right on your doorstep, as well as in our own showroom. Unlike most of our product range, the Laser Welding systems are portable enough for us to demonstrate on site, at your convenience!
Our van is kitted out with a safety interlocked door, 4 camera CCTV, Demmeler Welding Table and the IPG LightWeld XC Laser Welding System so you can see a fully working set-up anywhere you need it to be! With a separate viewing area too, multiple people can view the demonstrations in action, or you can try it out yourself!
Laser Welding is the latest innovation in welding, offering speeds up to 4x faster than TIG, and far easier for an unskilled worker to pick up and learn to use than the alternatives. It creates, strong, stable welds across a multitude of materials.
Suitable for a variety of Industries
Laser Welding suits a wide range of engineering industries. It’s particularly well suited to thinner materials, with the LightWELD XC able to weld up to 4mm in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Industries such as commercial kitchen fit-outs, exhaust manufacturers or anyone else typically working with thinner sheet or plate materials will find these particularly beneficial. As the technology advances, the list of applications will only grow.
UK Metals Expo 2023
We’ll be exhibiting with our demonstration van at the UK Metals Expo 2023 on 13th and 14th September, on Stand J2, come along and see us for a demonstration if you’ll be there!
