Woolgrove School in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, have been planning for their embankment slide project for years, and we were really excited to hear they finally received the go-ahead.
Their school’s brief included a double-width slide to boost accessibility, as well as all-weather surfacing.
The hill wasn’t quite steep enough for the slide, so we create a large decking platform to project from the hill, and give the slide the fall it needed.
The bonded rubber mulch surfacing has a stone base to help it remain even and level during winter months.
We always love working with local schools, and are very proud of this huge embankment slide project.
