Chestnuts Primary School in North London asked Setter Play to design a masterplan for each area of their grounds, which they would approach in phases after different rounds of fundraising.
Their first phase was to transform the KS2 play area at the front of the school, with a new MUGA as well as a huge climber.
The MUGA was tailored to fit the space, with multisport markings and goal ends in artificial grass.
Green metal fencing helps to contain balls during games, boosting safety in the wider play area. To the right you can see the new adventure trail we installed into their existing safety surface area…
…which is complemented by our ‘Double Dinosaur Nest’ climber with an additional deck at 1.5m in height, creating a huge number of different play experiences in the area, with a challenging free-form section alongside a deck to climb up, and a new adventure trail winding around the space.
This is a huge scheme that really transforms Chestnuts Primary School’s Key Stage 2 play area, and we hope their pupils like it!
