Framework Architects specified Shopkit’s Trackit system for Lincoln University’s International Office and Study Centre.
The twin stainless steel track system is an extremely versatile suspension method which allowed the client to create an exhibition and information area in the foyer. The adaptability of the Trackit system means that future configurations of graphics or the addition of shelving can be included to completely change the use of the space.
The current installation features a variety of graphics, multi brochure holders, literature and notice boards mounted on large acrylic and perforated metal panels on three runs of double track totaling over 18 meters.
The panels and accessories are all mounted on the track using Shopkit’s single roller wheel components which allows the panels to be easily repositioned anywhere along the length of the track.
The clever design of Trackit means that the reception space can also be completely cleared for conferences and functions with the panels being removed and stored, leaving only the ceiling support system in place.
