Standard Stair Treads

Smyth Composites are leading the way with the new “Premier Tread”. When “Standard” treads are required to have a contrasting nose, a pigmented gel coat is painted on top of the main plate. With Premier treads, the whole nose area is pigmented right through as the tread is manufactured. This means that as the nose area wears down (albeit after many years) the Premier tread retains its contrasting colour.
