Top-Splice SMD Cover Tape Connectors

Top-Splice from Steier is a clever way of attaching cover tape connectors in the splicing process. A self-adhesive backing section, using a strong adhesive, attached to a holding strip, the Top-Splice tape connector is lined up to the cover tape across the joined feeder tape. The holdering tape material is then removed by tearing along the perforation. Please see the instruction sheet pdf for an illustration of the process.
