The BB93 performance standard explains the minimum acoustic requirements for school buildings to ensure compliance with Building Regulations, which cover all aspects from indoor ambient noise level and airborne and impact sound insulation to reverberation time. TECSOUND FT is a soundproofing solution that consists of a TECSOUND membrane bonded to a porous felt mat. TECSOUND 2FT is a soundproofing solution composed of a TECSOUND membrane between two porous felt mats. TECSOUND FT55 AL is a soundproofing solution made of TECSOUND synthetic membrane, finished with porous felt and aluminium foil. 2. SOUND ABSORPTION In addition to our soundproofing range, we offer an absorption range consisting of wood wool panels and PET panels. FIBRO-KUSTIK Barcelona sound insulation boards for walls and ceilings consist of wood wool bound with cement, and have good sound-absorbing and fire-retardant properties. The wood is PEFC or FSC certified (hence responsibly sourced) and the panels can be supplied in more than 64 colours – from light ivory to pastel green or saffron yellow. PURE-KUSTIK is a 40 mm-thick sound insulation board made of polyester fibre with high sound absorption values (αw up to 0,9 – Class A). With more than 60% recycled content, PURE-KUSTIK is also a sustainable insulation option, and its smooth and aesthetically appealing surface allows for interior finishing applications. 3.
