The bitumen-coated topside is protected by a plastic film VELAPHONE FIBRE 22 is a contact sound insulating membrane based on bitumen and thermoplastic polymers. The lower side, except the overlap, is provided with a polyester fleece and the upper side of a plastic foil. The overlap is provided with an adhesive tape with a peelable film. VELAPHONE FIBRE 22 is used under suspended screed or floating parquet.
