Local Authorities around the country request noise assessments in response to planning applications with associated noise e.g. the installation of a new air conditioning system with external condensers, or a new build house near a busy road, railway line or flight path. Sound Planning conducts appropriate noise monitoring and noise measurement procedures, issues a full acoustic report in accordance with the appropriate British Standard, and designs a successful noise mitigation strategy if required. Sound Planning conducts all relevant liaison with the lcoal authorites planning officers and environmental health officers, for a proficient resolution. Sound Planning covers predominantly London and the South East, but has worked on projects throughout the UK.
