Description Used for overseeding worn area/patches on all fine turf areas. This static unit can also double as a tamper, with its head removed. By providing a flat bottom slot at the correct optimum depth of 1/2cube (13mm approx), the seed turnsduring the rapid germination period of less than 7 days. Moisture in the soil is better absorbed by the seed encouraging stronger root growth, thin a protected environment. Much of the seed employing the traditional surface application method is simply wasted. Birds, washing, lack of moisture and low spots account for huge failure in germination. This tool is supplied with a 6ft removable handle which can be cut down to required working length by user.
