SST Make Software Design Improvements to Liquid Level Sensor Product Range

SST Sensing are delighted to announce that they have made software design improvements to their entire liquid level sensor range. SST carried out vigorous tests on the new software which has now been successfully completed and the new software is being introduced imminently. SST’s extensive evaluation process was performed internally at SST’s test facility and externally, by many of their customers, in a variety of applications. The sensors’ performance has proven to be more robust to environmental influences than earlier revisions of liquid level sensors. The test engineers at SST believe that it performs better than similar products made by other manufacturers. The changes have not affected the sensor components or electronics in any way, only the internal software has been modified. As a result, the new revision of these sensors is now able to operate closer to reflective surfaces. It is also less affected by ambient light and is able to operate in reflective liquids such as milk which present a problem for traditional optical liquid level sensors. All future orders dispatched by SST Sensing will be manufactured using the new software.
