SST Sensing: A Significant Contributor to Lockheed Martin's F-35 Warplane

SST Sensing has been recognised in The Daily Telegraph for their significant contribution to Lockheed Martin's F-35 Jet Fighter for the Defense and Security Sector in the UK. SST were approached a couple of years ago to develop a customised sensor for the F-35 Fighter Jet. The Daily Telegraph reports that the F-35 project will generate a massive boost to the British economy as it should be worth £1bn a year to the UK Industry, sustaining 25,000 jobs when production peaks early next decade. It has the potential to be one of Britain's biggest ever manufacturing process as Britain is 15pc of every jet in a programme currently expected to exceed 3000 aircraft. It involves the supply chain of more than 500 UK companies; from the multinational corporations such as BAE Systems and Rolls Royce , to the small family owned, technology businesses.
