The TA.XT2i Texture Analyser

The TA.XT2i texture analyser provides quantifiable, repeatable and accurate results of tests requiring up to 50kg force. The performance of the TA.XT2i is enhanced by the addition of Texture Expert Exceed real-time graphics and data acquisition software. Total integrity of the results is maintained by the acquisition of up to 500 samples of force, distance, and time every second, ensuring that all peaks and transients present in the test are accurately captured and displayed. The TA.XT2i Texture Analyser is designed and manufactured for long-term reliability and accuracy. It will perform tests in both tension and compression for cycling, flexure, constant strain and stress relaxation on such products as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and adhesives. There are many built in test procedures to meet most requirements. In 'stand alone' format, all data displays and results use the control console in which 50 separate test procedures can be archived. Additional pre-programmed test procedures include Texture Profile Analysis, Adhesiveness and Sine oscillation. The TA.XT2i can have a 5Kg or 25Kg load cell fitted and changing load cells takes only a few minutes.
