Steel Express are pleased to announce the installation of their latest brand new saws. There are three saws being installed, primarily to speed up the cutting process and reduce lead time to customers, but to also to enable us to offer a free issue cutting service. The first new saw that was installed in December 2011 is an EVERISING 460HA fully automatic CNC, capable of cutting diameters up to 460mm and blocks up to 460mm x 500mm. The most recent to be installed is an EVERISING 560HA CNC fully automatic with capacity to cut up to 560mm diameter and 560mm x 615mm blocks. Being automatic these saws will continue cutting when the shop floor is unmanned therefore increasing productivity. The good news for us and our customers doesn’t stop there. During the month of May a third saw will be installed, this being a semi automatic saw capable of cutting blocks of 800mm x 1300mm. This is a major step forward for Steel Express, having invested in excess of £150k in state of the art machinery, our aim is to offer a fast, effective and reliable service, along with keeping prices competitive.
