A solar powered Belisha beacon that is simply bolted on top of a standard 76mm Belisha pole and no mains power or cabling is required.The unit is self-contained with the 25W solar panel mounted on the enclosure and the power management, microprocessor controlled beacon controller and battery within enclosure. LED Bulb mounted within globe on top of enclosure. The beacon is designed to comply with BS 8442-2006 specification which id the UK Department of Transport specification for pedestrian crossing beacons.The beacon operates automatically operates 24/7 throughout the year and the light levels can be varied for day and night.Has an autonomy for working without sunlight of 100+ hours.User Benefits?
