Flush door stands out at Scotland’s Homes & Interiors Exhibition

Interalia show new concept cabinets using Sugatsune LIN-X door mechanisms at recent Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition. The space saving Sugatsune LIN-X door system opens out and to the side making it perfect for restricted spaces. Inter Alia featured it on their stand at the 2009 Homes and Interiors exhibition to dramatic effect. “The fact that the doors could open and still not obstruct passers by on the stand was demonstration enough of it’s worth” said Yossi. Yossi builds kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms for individuals and developments and knows the importance of offering new solutions. “Bedrooms keep getting smaller: the gap betweeen bed and wardrobe is no longer sufficient for a conventional door, that’s where systems like the LIN-X come in” he says. Each year the Homes and Interiors exhibition showcases some of the best interior design from across the UK. The competition to be noticed is fierce and exhibitors put a lot of thought into their stands. Yossi spotted the LIN-X and could immediately see several applications for it. “I liked the concept and knew it would grab attention at the show” He was not wrong, he had several offers to buy the featured product, double doors at the end of a breakfast bar, even though it was not actually for sale!
