New DPL Push Knob Latch From Sugatsune Comes In Superyacht Quality

Sugatsunes new DPL Push Knob Latch is an evolution of previous successful models. It offers enhanced engineering in a more robust design that works better and feels good in the hand. Responding particularly to marine customers who need internal fittings that reflect the quality and reliability of the yacht they adorn Sugastune has released The DPL Push Knob Latch. The DPL can be pushed in flush with the bezel and then pushed in to pop up again for use. The latching uses a sprung latch bolt allowing the door to be pulled open and pushed closed with a satisfying click. When the Knob is pushed in the latch bolt is locked preventing the door from inadvertant opening. The DPL offers a choice of three different shaped bezels, square oval and round. All available in Gold or Chrome with the square bezel version also coming in a satin nickel finish. Different bezel knob finish combinations can be supplied by special order, for example a gold bezel with a chrome knob. Latch body and counterplate are made from robust black plastic. The counterplate also acts as a door stop allowing the door to be held in compression by the sprung latch bolt. For doors 15-25mm thick. Easy installation, one hole to bore, three screws supplied. The latch has a very high quality feel in the hand with a solid positive close. Knob and latch are supplied as a single unit to make ordering easier.
