Future Concepts At Futurebuild 2023
The future is always something we’ve got one eye on here at Sugatsune. So we’re delighted to say that we will be exhibiting at Futurebuild 2023 in London next month, joining hundreds of names from across the construction and architectural design industries to cast our gaze forward to the future of the built environment.
Futurebuild stands out as the UK construction industry’s premier trade event, bringing together figures from across the entire supply chain with a focus on inspiring ideas, innovative solutions and knowledge sharing.
In particular, this year is being billed as an opportunity to showcase, debate and understand ongoing advancements in sustainable construction and the emerging technologies that will make achieving the net zero goal in the construction industry possible.
We’re honoured to be joining more than 400 other exhibitors who, along with 90 seminar and workshop curators and an astonishing 500 speakers across the three days, will be taking a stand on what improvements we can make to our built environment in both the short and long term.
Futuristic interior design
As always when we exhibit at trade shows, we’ll be showcasing a wide selection of products with Sugatsune staff on hand to demonstrate and talk through some of our most innovative concepts. In particular, this year we will be focusing on our newly expanded HES range of concealed hinges, which provide the smallest footprint of any hidden hinge on the market for flawless architectural integration, now available for a full range of framed and frameless doors of all sizes, plus an option for easy surface mounted installation.
We’ll also have two of our premium lateral opening door systems on display, the MFU Flush sliding door system and the LINX lateral opening series. As its name suggests, the MFU system ensures closed sliding doors sit fully flush with the surrounding wall for a pristine seamless finish. With a two-way damper system integrated within the slide rail, the door is opened with a gentle push, after which the damper takes control for the ultimate in smooth motion.
Similarly, the LINX lateral system is a premium solution that also sits flush with the surrounding wall, but uses multi-pivot hinges to carry the door sideways flat against an adjacent wall rather than a slide rail. Two different approaches to making the ‘hidden door’ concept achievable in every space for the very best in futuristic interior design.
