LL-66 Polyamide Lever Catch

The LL-66 is a lever catch made from polyamide plastic which keeps cabinet and cupboard doors firmly closed. In Japan earthquakes are a regular feature of life and kitchen cabinets need to remain securely closed when the earth moves. This catch requires a positive touch to release but thanks to the design, opening the door is achieved in one movement with one hand. A small spring returns the lever for a positive close. It is mounted discreetly on the lower backside of the door where the door protrudes slightly below the bottom board of the cupboard. Because it resists vibration it is also popular in the transport industry or near machinery and it has found it's way into a surprising number of yachts where it's corrosion resistance is another positive. It is supplied with a nickel plated catch plate and four nickel plated screws. Available in black or white.
