The Junior Achievement (JA) of Oklahoma Beach Bowl 2018 offered JA of Oklahoma Supporters a fun and easy way to raise funds for JA's K-12 financial education programs through a great team-building activity. SWEP Tulsa’s team participated in this Beach Bowl back in February 2018.
This was SWEP’s third year to sponsor/participate and it gave the team of amateur bowlers a chance to get together and have fun while supporting a great cause and giving back to the community. The SWEP team was led by Tulsa Plant Manager Ryan Bristle. JA of Oklahoma has created this special event for business professionals in small, medium, and large companies in the Tulsa metro. The proceeds will be used to help over 58,300 Oklahoma students become our leaders and work force of tomorrow!
Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their economic success. Our programs educate young people to value free enterprise, business and economics through the support of teachers, parents, and volunteers in the classroom. JA provides hands-on experiences to help young people understand how the real-world works. In partnership with business and educators, JA helps educate students in personal finance and practical workplace skills, preparing them to pursue their careers as well as their dreams.
Junior Achievement of Oklahoma will inspire over 58,300 students statewide during the 2017-2018 school year.
