Ebonised Beehive Rim or Mortise Knobs with aged back plate

These lovely ebonised early Regency door knobs are reproductions of the earliest beehive door knobs. Their design is said to symbolise the shape of a bee's body. These beehive knobs have an aged brass reeded back plate and are suitable for both rim and mortise latches they measure 50mm diameter and the back plate measures approximately 60mm.
