Regency Rhinestone Butterfly Brooch This vintage Regency butterfly brooch is set with high quality amber and citrine rhinestones which have kept their sparkle beautifully. Each rhinestone is set in a gold tone metal four prong setting and the back is signed on the base of the butterfly body with the oval REGENCY mark. The clasp also has a roll over security setting. Excellent vintage condition. Regency costume jewellery was made by the Polowitz family who owned the Regina Novelty Company in New York City and manufactured between 1950s and 1970s. Regency jewellery has become quite sort after by collectors and the butterfly was their signiture piece alongwith high quality rhinestones.
