New Vehicle and Pedestrian Ramps with handrails We are happy to introduce a new range of vehicle accessible ramps and pedestrian ramps with handrails, offering extra security and safety for your workforce or pedestrian and wheelchair users around construction sites or the private home environment. Similar in design to our walkways and gangways, these ramps with handrails are made from high quality aluminium, manufactured in Europe and are an ideal solution for traversing height differences caused by construction or public works. With a maximum gradient of 8%, this range of ramps is suitable for load heights of up to 460mm. Both the pedestrian and vehicle ramps are available in lengths between 990mm and 5790mm and useful for heights ranging from 80mm to 460mm. With a capacity of 400kg per square metre and a usable width of 1000mm, the pedestrian range of these ramps is a secure and reliable solution for pedestrian traffic, wheelchair and mobility scooter users as well as emergency use. The range of vehicle ramps has a much higher capacity of up to 4500kg and is available in two widths: 1000mm and 1250mm to allow for the use with small construction vehicles like diggers as well as forklifts. Both ranges of ramps have a couple of safety features, such as the handrails that can be folded for easier transportation and storage and safety edges to prevent accidental wheeling off. Besides these, the ramps also feature an anti-slip surface.
