Football in Glasgow inspires Stannah walk for Children in Need When eight colleagues at Stannah in Glasgow talked football a great idea emerged. Why not visit all the grounds they worshipped individually, on foot, as a sponsored 14-mile walk for Children in Need? So, on 19th November 2016 the colleagues at Stannah Lift Services in Glasgow joined forces and admired Rangers FC, Partic Thistle, Celtic Park and national stadium Hampden Park on a football trail through Glasgow. Stannah in Scotland look after all types of lifts and escalators throughout Scotland, but none were used in this challenge! Administrators Lisa Elliott and Susan Montgomery, Apprentices Declan Slater and Sean Lawson, Domestic Field Service Manager Stevie Graham and lift engineers, Grieg Wilkes, Craig Learmonth and Gary Wallace even posed for pictures outside rival grounds for this excellent cause.
