Stannah install a passenger lifts in Seven Fields
Stannah have installed a 2-stop passenger lift in Seven Fields Dental & Health Centre at Groundwell Farmhouse in Swindon. The lift takes clients to treatment rooms on the first floor of the centre. Seven fields opened in January 2007 after a four year renovation of the derelict farmhouse that was first mentioned in the Doomsday Book. Groundwell Farm was home to Crusader Walter de Dunstanville in the 13th century and has been a parsonage, a farm and an arts and drama centre before its eventual decline. Dentist Patrick Holmes bought the farmhouse in 2002 and whilst running his practice located close by he set about the challenging renovation project. Today Groundwell Farmhouse is a calm, welcoming environment housing cosmetic and traditional dentistry and a range of complimentary therapies including Acupuncture, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Thai massage, Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Shiatsu and Indian head massage. The building has beautiful original beams and huge fire places and certainly conveys the practices aims to ‘restore, relax and refresh’ their clientele. The Stannah passenger lift was installed to meet the requirements of the DDA, ensuring all visitors, including those with restricted mobility, can access all services within the building.
