Stannah sponsor GO Award in Scotland After exhibiting all day at the Procurex Scotland Live, Scotland’s leading public sector procurement conference, Stannah attended the evening’s GO Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland as sponsors of the ‘best service’ award. Procurex Scotland Live 2016 was proud to host the Scottish Government 12th National Procurement Conference, which attracted buyers, heads of department and contract managers responsible for managing the national public procurement expenditure of almost £11 billion a year. Public sector procurement in Scotland continues to reform, and with the recent publication of the new procurement rules it is now more important than ever before to ensure personnel involved in this sector are fully up to speed on the changes. This hugely important one-day conference provided attendees with an invaluable insight into the latest developments and opportunities taking place across Scotland. The GO Excellence in Public Procurement Awards celebrates excellence across the whole of the procurement processes. The GO Best Service Award (suppliers working with the Scottish public sector) recognises the critical part that private and third sector organisations play in ensuring end-user expectations are met, or even better exceeded – while paying heed to issues such as efficiency and sustainability.
