Sales are up and Thermoseal Group plans another year of growth

Leading warm edge supplier and the UK’s largest supplier of the widest range of insulated glass sealed unit components, Thermoseal Group, has announced yet another year of growth. As well as an increase in turnover of 16% in 2008 and 7% in 2009, Thermoseal Group is growing its capacity as a business. In 2008 the Group purchased a brand new 20,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Wigan to substantiate its growth in the north. This building has now become the Group’s Innovation Centre where an increasing number of manufacturing processes are being put into production. This has created new jobs for sales, production and warehouse staff. Managing director, Gwain Paterson, says: “We made the strategic decision to grow the business and now plan to manufacture more components from our Wigan depot. “The UK insulated glass (IG) manufacturing market relies heavily on imported products which have been subject to massive fluctuations in exchange rates.
