Panel Press Machines

This machine is an integral section of a production line. It is the section of the line where the insulated glass sealed unit is compressed to bond the unit together. Panel press machines are available in a variety of heights. Each machine has a fixed panel with a matching moving plate mounted on large diametre shafts and linear bearings. The moving plate is powered by a pneumatic cylinder driven by a series of levers. Control of the movement and pressure of the plate is by pneumatic and electronic sensors. The pressure on the glass is adjustable, as is the duration of the pressing action. These variables can be adjusted via the touch-screen control panel on the front of the press.
