WE’RE GETTING FESTIVAL FEVER! At Thirst Solution HQ we love being involved with festivals. Even ones we don’t yet supply our beer backpacks and Usherette Trays to, we love to visit because we are true festival lovers at heart! festival fever hits! Sat around the coffee maker (by the way have you tried Jones And Burke coffee yet – it’s delicious!) we got talking about festival season and all the events we’re going to between us this summer – and ones we’ve got on the bucket list. We’re getting festival fever just thinking about it so we thought we’d share our top 5 with you (in no particular order): 1. Oktoberfest Sixteen days – yes, 16 days – of beer, beer, beer in Germany’s Munich with around 6 million other people! What’s not to like about it??? 2. Rio De Janeiro Carnival The Brazillian’s know how to party and the Rio De Janeiro Carnival is a celebration like no other on earth. Upbeat music, culture, flamboyant dance, vibrant floats with 2 million people on the streets each day over the 6 day long event. It’s just one of those experiences we don’t want to miss out on! 3. La Tomatina in Spain Call us crazy but there’s just something about throwing tomatoes that appeals to us… And sliding down those tomato slides… It’s a festival of fun and tomatoes – just be sure not to wear our best clothes!! 4. Coachella Obviously there’s the amazing musical line-up, the intoxicating atmosphere, the vivid and vibrant cultural elements to this hip and trendy festival…. And of course it has absolutely nothing to do with the A-list celeb spotting… Honest! 5. Falls Festival Australia We can’t think of a better way to spend New Years Eve than at Falls Festival music festival in the Australian summertime. Can you even imagine sunshine in December??
