COMPRESSOR HOUSE BUILDING
31-07-2018
This compressor house, within a food manufacturing plant, naturally required a significant louvered area to allow incoming air for the compressors. The Client wished for a ‘built –up’ insulation system for the cladding. Comprising two separate sheets (inner white lining sheet and exterior light grey plasticol sheet in this instance) of materials with a spacing system between and the space filled with non-combustible Rockwool or similar. This is a less popular choice as the majority of your Clients call for a composite pre-manufactured insulated panel system. But 3CB can readily cater for either option.
Unusually perhaps the Clients wished for the new oil free air compressor to be on display behind the aluminium glazed front to ensure such critical plant (vital in this prestigious high volume food manufacturing facility) weren’t hidden and forgotten and not maintained to the very highest of standards.
