2 hours to build, and one days notice – what a result for BBC1s The One Show.
At short notice Herpetosures Managing Director, James Lloyd, rustled up an impressive reptile habitat which appeared live at BBC studios as part of a conservation feature for The One Show on Thursday 14 May.
The item was prompted by a national conservation campaign being coordinated by wildlife charities, such as Froglife. The campaign called Reptiles and Amphibians in Your Garden, calls for the nation to head to the garden with note book in hand and record what you see.
Herpetosures bespoke reptile habitat built especially for the show backed up this message by illustrating how everyday garden features can create ideal habitats for many reptile species.
James Lloyd, Managing Director of Herpetosure, explains…
“Everyone involved in the show was ecstatic with the way the habitat turned out; so many on lookers came by to complement us on the results, it was great – I think that must be the smartest bit of reptile fencing ever seen!"
“I was amused with Adrian Chiles on screen comment about how much the habitat cost the BBC – but lets have a little fun with it anyway!"
“If anyone outside of the show can guess exactly how much we charged, you will win a new Herpetosure Group blouson jacket!"
