Big Roads, Big Jobs, and 000s of Metres of Fencing

See Three Shires Ltd on the M1 widening, the A1 Widening and the A46 widening schemes all in the same month! With a mixed bag of Highways Fencing, Newt Fencing, Habitat Creation and Tree Planting Works, May is set to see over 25,000 metres of fencing installed on 3 of the UK’s most high profile road projects. The M1 and the A46 fencing works are due to start within the two weeks, but the Three Shires team is currently on the ground on the A1 in North Yorkshire between Barton and Dishforth The A1 project will see over 5500 metres of Herpetosure upright and one-way newt fencing installed at various sites up and down the scheme. Three Shires is also delivering habitat creation works across the project, including shrub and tree planting, grassland turfing, wildflower seeding and hedgerow establishment, as well as rabbit and post and rail fencing, and badger gate installation
