Delivering all things Ecological

The last 6 weeks has thrown up a real mixed bag of works for the Three Shires team –Since the start of the season our ecological department has installed over 16,000 metres of newt fencing, 5,000 metres of reptile fencing and 2,000 metres of water vole fencing – and still counting! Three Shires has also been quietly adding to their habitat creation tally, so far we have built 4 new badger setts, 1 new otter holt, 7 ponds, 6 hibernacula and completed habitat enhancements on over 3000 metres of water course. This week our fencing department also completed the final phase of the £350,000 fencing contract on the M1 Junction 25 – 28 Widening Scheme for MVM. Our fencing works commenced in June 2009 and involved the installation of post and rail fencing, demarcation fencing, timber and wire fencing, timber and steel gates, and chain link fencing In the last six weeks our clients have included; Augean Plc, Carillion Plc, Taylor Wimpey, OH Hampton, ATH Resources, Biffa, Severn Trent Water, Northumbrian Water Ltd, Creswell Associates, RPS and WYG.
