Three Shires Fencing at Full Steam

As the planting season draws to a close, March has seen Three Shires Fencing Department ramping up its operations for another spring/summer period.
Work continues on the M1 J25-28 Widening Scheme as the final fence lines are installed. Main contractor MVM is on track to bring the works in ahead of schedule and as such Three Shires has increased the number of staff to accommodate the accelerated programme.
March has also seen both fencing and planting contracts completed for new client Center Parcs under instruction of Edmund Shipway. Three Shires Fencing were also delighted to have been awarded another large scale fencing contract in Nottinghamshire, by new client Strutt and Parker.
Three Shires Ecological were also out and about – this time installing permanent amphibian fencing for the protection of Knatterjack toads. Herpetosure toad fencing was installed just prior the knatterjacks annual exodus and prevented access into areas where construction work was due to take place. In total 1000 metres of herpetosure amphibian fencing was installed at the Cumbria site.
Tree planting and establishment works always make always march a frantic time of year; Three Shires has planted trees in Northamptonshire, Oxford, Leicestershire, Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, in March alone.
