Danfoss FHV-R Regulating Valve

The danfoss FHV-R is a self acting regulating valve which is simple to install and requires no electric wiring. It comprises a valve enclosure which is built into a wall or partition , a valve sensor and a facia plate. The FHV-R valves utilises an FGVR return temperature limiter sensor which controls the temperature of water leaving the floor heating circuit. As there is a good correlation between water and floor temperature the FHV-R solution also insures that a warm floor is maintained. The FHV-R is ideal for use in floor heating extensions to existing radiator systems operating at normal flow and return temperatures of 70 -80 deg. C. It provides the perfect solution for areas with high heat gains , such as conservatories. A mixing valve is not required with this type of control. Once installed you simply have to set the thermostat to the required floor temperature and leave it - the self acting sensor will automatically limit the floor temperature to around 30 deg. C. If the room is too cold or too hot the sensor can be turned up or down until the required comfort setting is achieved.
