Claire Cotterill Bespoke Art Installation | A Visual Story

Total Solutions Group are proud to have contributed to an incredible commission from Bromford Housing, which took just over a year to complete. Claire Cotterill Mosaics was asked to create bespoke artwork for a new housing development in Stourport-upon-Severn and the results were breath-taking. Claire Cotterill is an artist with over 20 years experience of designing and producing art installations to commission in public, residential and educational environments. Claire works closely with a range of clients to achieve their vision, and each bespoke commission is a unique work of art. Claire was commissioned to create these artworks by Bromford Housing as part of a new property development project in Stourport-upon-Severn, Worcestershire. The brief was open and in consultation Claire decided to create artwork that celebrated the local heritage of the site and surrounding area, its unique history, industry and character as a leisure destination—a visual story, honouring the past whist making way for the future. The panels are constructed using aluminium and dibond, the vertical panels being nearly 9m high and verticals stretching over 6M. Claire said “ it’s been a wonderful project to work on, and I’ve loved delving into the archives as well as learning so much about the town and its people. Total Solutions have been invaluable in helping me achieve my vision and I look forward to working again with them in the future”.
