The heart of the new industrial pressure transmitter NAT 8252 is Trafag's thin-film-on-steel sensing element. It is a fully welded design that can withstand triple the operating pressure without experiencing damage. To protect the sensor against cavitation and liquid hammer, a damping element is available as an option. For this reason it is strong, stable and maintains accurate even under rough conditions. The electronics are based on Trafag's in-house designed ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) which achieves optimal temperature compensation and linearization over the operating range of 40...125° C. This quality construction allows for use in the most demanding applications, including outdoor conditions. The industrial pressure transmitter NAT 8252 is readily available in the ranges from 0...2.5 to 0...600 bar with M12 and DIN Industrial standard electrical connections and the most common pressure connections and output signals.
