TRB Lightweight Structures selected as a supplier for Elekta

TRB Lightweight Structures is delighted to announce it has been selected by Elekta as one of its top twenty suppliers. The company will manufacture a lightweight flooring solution which will be used in the rooms, or bunkers, that accommodate Elekta’s Unity MR-linac. The speciality flooring can withstand excessive weight distribution and is hinged to allow access to different parts of the machine. A leader in precision radiation medicine, Elekta is committed to ensuring everyone in the world with cancer has access to – and benefits from – more precise, personalized radiotherapy treatments. Elekta’s latest innovation, Elekta Unity, is the world’s first high-field MR-linac and has the potential to transform how clinicians treat cancer.
