Generally Sewage Treatment Works require a Baffle within the chamber, which is either designed to slow down flow or restrict flow. These solutions also act as barriers to prevent debris impacting upon sensitive equipment. Sewage Treatment Baffle Boards can also reduce the need for regular maintenance. They can be utilised as a form of Scumboard or Weiring devise control. Available in RPC (Recycled Polycarbonate), however other materials are available such as Painted Mild Steel, Galvanised Mild Steel, Grade 304 Stainless Steel or Grade 316 Stainless Steel.
