VE SMART CAMERAS: 5MP CAMERA & PASSWORD PROTECTED USER PROFILES

The newest addition to the VE Series is a smart camera featuring a 5MP (2592 × 2048 pixels) CMOS imager. This versatile camera has the same ease-of-use, compact form factor, and on-board features as other VE Series Smart Cameras, but provides finer levels of detection and a larger field of view. Also available for free download is the latest version of Banner’s software for VE Series Smart Cameras. Vision Manager version 1.4.0 allows for the creation of multiple password protected user profiles. Profiles are stored on the camera, so users can access their profile and manage inspections using any connected PC or laptop. Key Benefits Increased Accuracy and Precision: Capable of reliably detecting very small objects as well as fine details and minute flaws on complex targets, the 5MP camera is a cost-effective, easy-to-use alternative to more expensive and complicated vision systems. Wide Field of View: A single 5MP camera can perform a detailed inspection over a large target area in a single capture. The ability to cover more area in one inspection can reduce or even eliminate the need for additional inspections as well as the equipment needed to perform those inspections. Password Protected User Profiles: Administrators can authorize individual users with a specific level of access to manage inspections. This empowers users to update inspections to facilitate a smooth workflow while restricting the changes possible to those included in an individual user’s profile.
