New jacketed lamps offer Zero Transit breakages

Energy-efficient short-wave heat lamps from Under Control Instruments are designed for use in heated counters and serveries by catering equipment manufacturers. The lamps are available in overall a lengths of 220mm, and supplied in 300 and 500W power ratings. The lamps promise a working life of 8000 hours across the whole range, which is 60% longer than most competing units, which only offer 5000 hours of operation. Novel design features give them stability in catering environments at competitive prices. All lamps are CE approval and manufactured to EN60335-1:2005 and EN60335-2-30:2003, the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and the RoHS Directive.
