They are less flexible and has a thinner profile. They are a lower-cost alternative compared to ceramic band heaters but work just as well within their scope of use. \n \nCeramic band heaters, however, are more heavy-duty and should be used where temperatures are required to get up to 800 deg C. They offer more flexibility but are thicker in profile. \n \nWe can supply both options with thermocouple holes, split designs and with different types of clamping styles. \n \nWe can offer sizes up to 2 metres diameter and 2 metres in length, please send us your enquiry, we would be pleased to quote.
