Absorbent Pads for containing infectious substances in transit under UN3373 regulations Our absorbent pads efficiently and swiftly soak up excess or hazardous liquids which have the potential to cause harm to the health of humans or other animals, such as infectious substances. Absorbent material is required for transporting dangerous goods transported under UN3373 regulation. Aabsorbent pads are placed inside the secondary leakproof packaging; this absorbent cushioning layer acts to soak up any liquid created by a failure of the primary receptacle to fully contain specimen samples. Absorbent pads can be used in conjunction with our SecureLab 95kPa specimen bags for safe transportatoin of specimens.
