These flexible outer bags hold leakproof primary and secondary containers containing medical samples / absorbent material to contain any spillages within, to minimise the risk posed by infectious substances. Specimen bags are produced in custom size/thickness, colours, style (such as with/without carry handle), printing, size and tamper evident level. Specimen transport bags can be colour-coded as an effective way to differentiate between different types of specimens, such as those originating from particular hospital departments (pathology, cytology, haematology, microbiology departments etc.)
