Detent Plastic Hinge

These lightweight and strong Detent Plastic Hinges (also known as Detent Hinges, Hinges with Detent, Position Control Hinges) are made from a high impact resistant thermoplastic and are able to hold doors, lids and hatches open at a fixed position to enable hands free access to cabinets and enclosures. These hinges remove the need for gas struts to keep the lid or door open, saving space. Caps are also included to hide and protect the mounting hardware.

The key features of the Detent Plastic Hinges are their ability to hold doors and lids at predetermined angles without the use of gas struts. The hinge is assembled using their four thru-holes which can later be covered by the supplied caps. The Detent Plastic Hinge comes in 4 options of detent angles: - None - 80° - 115° - 150°. The Detent Plastic Hinge has a hinge positioning torque of 1.2Nm. The Hinges can also withstand a radial load of 450N and an axial load of 450N.
