Important Changes to CQC Portal Coming Soon
What Providers need to know!
CQC has announced that its current portal will cease to operate on the 27th of February 2024. Between this day and 31 March 2024, providers can use the existing portal to view their data but not make any changes or submissions. Your historic data will not transfer to the new portal. You will need to download your data if you want to keep a record.
From 27 February all providers can sign up to the new portal. Until that date, you must wait for an invitation from CQC to sign up. If you have been invited to join the new portal, refer to your invitation email ‘New CQC portal: sign up today’. This explains how to log in and use it.
You must sign up to the new portal your existing account will not transfer automatically.
CQC is advising providers to download all their information from the old portal. We recommend that providers do this to ensure they have a complete record of their data – Please remember that CQC uses historical data when rating a service, so if they were to consider enforcement action in the future it would look at the historic data to help inform its decision making.
Providers can use the Portal as normal up until the 27th of February 2024.
