The PT-DW830 Series is also designed with a dual lamp system that eliminates projection interruption due to a lamp failure. The Lamp Relay mode alternates operation of each lamp to enable 24/7 operation of the projector. Furthermore its lamp replacement cycle has been improved compared to conventional Panasonic 1-chip DLP models and is now up to 3000 hours in normal mode and 4000 hours in eco mode for reduced maintenance.‘Digital Link’ for simplified AV infrastructureThe PT-DW830 Series offers more than just high picture quality ease of maintenance and system reliability. It is DIGITAL LINK compatible which guarantees users a simplified AV infrastructure with high definition video audio and control signals all carried over a single CAT5e or higher specification Ethernet cable for up to 100 metres*1. The PT-DW830 projector can be paired with Panasonic's ET-YFB100 proprietary Digital Interface Box or can be connected directly with other manufacturers’ HDBaseT™ variants for direct connection to their switcher system without the need for an external receiver. The PT-DW830 Series also ensures interoperability with major AV control manufacturers’ control protocols such as Crestron’s Digital Media 8G+ Extron’s XTP Systems and AMX’s Enova DVX.Flexible installation and diverse functionsApplication flexibility is further enhanced through the lens being located in a centralised position in the projector chassis by a wide range of movement in the motorised horizontal / vertical lens shift*2 and through 360-degree installation capability. Additional features to enable greater installation flexibility include portrait mode compatibility allowing vertical rotation for upright images; and an abundance of connectivity options including DVI-D HDMI and 3D timing signal in/out.
